How can you get more of life by having a productive day? Here are five of my favorite articles. I left off other tribe-gathering giants such as James Clear and James Altucher (sorry, gentlemen), but then 7 wouldn’t be 5.
- Kevin Kruse writes about what successful people do differently, particularly his points on forgoing smartphones in meetings and closing the open door policy. It’s about fostering memory recall and getting the time you need to focus to give your priority people the attention they deserve. I split my door policy: closed 8am-12noon and open 1-5pm.
- You have to love Laura Vanderkam with her down-to-earth practical advice on top tips to stay productive. I’ve heard her speak in person; she’s the real demure deal.
- James Wallman explains why we’re so worried about time running out and what to do about it. A useful analysis.
- Here is John Rampton’s rundown of 15 time management books. A great place to start! Here are my favorite time management books.
- Even though Ramit Sethi majors on money, he writes on personal productivity as well such as in this example.
